Let these Sea-Pac seminars catch your interest and open the door to new ham radio adventures. The presenters below volunteer their experience to share with you their knowledge and skills on the many facets of this great hobby. What ever your interests are, you’re sure to acquire new knowledge to take home and enjoy.

Below is an overview of the seminars Sea-Pac is presenting this year. This will help you select the seminars of interest. A thank you to presenters is always appreciated. And as a courtesy to all, be sure your hand-held radios and cell phones are turned off during the seminar.

Carl Luetzelschwab K9LA is the author of many articles on radio wave propagation, contributor to the propagation section of the ARRL Antenna Compendiums and monthly Propagation columnist for the WorldRadio Online.

Join Carl as he discloses the science and practices of radio propagation. Explore the Ionosphere. Learn how it forms, how it is measured, and the impact it has on MF, HF, and VHF radio propagation. Delve into the science of propagation prediction, the software available, how it is used and its limitations and other specific topics as 160 meters, skew path, noise etc. Finally, he will discuss Cycle 24 and its progress.

Whether you are newly minted ham, an avid DX chaser, a battle tested contester or a short wave enthusiast you should find a great deal of valuable information so don’t miss this opportunity to improve your skill and knowledge.

Note that there will also be a Workshop Luncheon available on Friday at 11:00 AM at the Shilo Inn for an extra cost of $15.50. Both the workshop and luncheon must be reserved in advance on the registration form.
